World Of Women Warriors video IS BACK

My popular "World Of Women Warriors" video was blocked by You Tube for months due the Net Nazis concerned about the copyrighted music that I used on it.  Finally, after I filed the second request to allow the music under the "Fair Use" provision of the U.S. Copyright Law, You Tube finally received permission to unblock it.  You will find this video in my video library.  If you haven't seen it, I invite you to view it as it was one of my best.

Legendary Amazons movie

I found a Chinese martial-arts movie on You Tube that depicts a group of Oriental Amazons fighting an army of male barbarians.  The link to Legendary Amazons, which I placed in my Video Library, has the full movie.  It has Chinese, Arabic, and English subtitles with Chinese audio.

The setting is medieval China and takes place outside of a castle which is defended by the women.  The Amazons use swords, spears, arrows, and unique weapons to attack the male horde.  I think that you will enjoy the fighting scenes, as they are some of the finest I've seen of this genre.

Boudica's Sack Of Londinium & Final Charge

I have uploaded a vid clip from a You Tube video from the A & E channel's docudrama, "Queen Boudica".  She was the queen of the Iceni tribe of the British Celts who revolted against the tyranny and taxation of the Roman Empire.  She rallied other tribes and together they nearly wiped out the Romans living in Britannia.

I have placed the clip in the "Video Library" under "Boudica". The clip shows two important and dramatic scenes:  1) her sacking the city of Londinium (London) and 2) her final heroic but futile charge against the Roman Legion sent to destroy her and her tribe.  I do hope that you not only watch this video but also rent the movie from Netflix as it's a fair presentation of her exploits but has a few historical errors.  And, nobody is quite sure how her and her two daughters perished in that final battle. 

Moorish Amazons video

Please watch the "Moorish Amazons" video that I placed in my "Video" library.  It's a well-crafted CGI story about how black, women archers in medieval Spain vanquished three Spanish armored knights trying to leave their besieged castle and get help.  The video is from You Tube.

"Amazon Siege!

Here's another exciting render by Tom Watson (Lotus253). Please click this post's title to jump to the link and be sure to view it in zoom as it's quite a large pic. This time, Tom features a castle wall, defended by priestesses, being assautled by barbaric Amazons. Fantastic battlescenes, not to gory or having gratuitous nudity, but conveying a sense of bravery and heroism in battle. I have placed this pic right under his other one (see my last post). He's interested in drawing more mass battles so I hope to get more from him.

Asian Women Warriors music video

From the Russian steppes, to China and Japan, Asian women have taken up the sword to fight injustice. Please view these female warriors of the Orient on my You Tube video. "Spartan Queen" art

I just uploaded a new artwork, "Spartan Queen", by artist Tariq12. It's located under the "Blog News" section so you can use the "Table Of Contents" to jump near it. It's a thrilling render of a warrior queen in a bloody combat and I hope that you like it.

"War Goddess" (1974) Amazons vs Greeks video clip

I found the "War Goddess" (1974) video clip, while searching my videos that I've backed up, that was deleted from You Tube. This clip depicts the famous battle between Queen Antiope's Amazon cavalry and King Theseus's Greek army who's holding her captive. "War Goddess" is the English dubbed, Italian version of "The Amazons", released to U.S. audiences the same year.

Directed by Terrence Young, of "Star Wars" fame, "War Goddess" features several action clips depicting Amazon life and combat. My favorite is this clip as it shows Amazons wearing period costumes, with authentic weapons, using good horsewomanship, and excellent fight scenes.

New Women-Warrior Art Uploads (June)

Two Women Swordfight

The video clip show the death of the warrior queen, Camilla, by an arrow, was removed by the owner from You Tube. I'll try to find a replacement.

The video clip of two women in a fatal swordfight, from "The Phantom Empire" was removed by You Tube for a "term of use" violation. I have replaced it with "Two Women Swordfight", which is a choreographed, stage duel from Anime Cinematography. Please click the title for the link. I have also added it to my "Video Library".

Fantasy Amazon Warrior Art Uploads

This month, the Rotating Gallery features a sentry guarding a castle (please note the intricate armour), a battle scene depicting the death of a portly knight, a wicked sword duel of two topless women, and a lovely guardian angel.

The "Warrior Speaks Out" feature depicts a female Spartan warrior. Although it wouldn't be part of normal Spartan culture to allow a woman warrior, this lady demands her chance to join their fierce army. This month's "Woman Rant" picture depicts an archer. Also, a number of new videos have been added to the "Video Library" so please check them out.
