"Wolfy's Howl" Blog News
I recently switched from cable Net to DSL Net so I lost my access to my previous ISP's FTP server. Therefore, as my photo-stories and short-story libraries were hosted on the FTP server, I had to delete both libraries. I hope that most of you had a chance to read these stories. Sadly, I haven't found a way to put them back on the blog.
*** BIG PROBLEM:
One of my biggest problems with art collecting is authors not signing their work. While I sometimes use unsigned art, I also would like to give the artist credit. So, if anybody thinks they know the artist of any unknown picture here, please leave me a comment on any of my posts. Thanks.
Thanks to everybody for making the blog a success.

Gladiatrix
A Gladiatrix Speaks Out:
"[Men tell women it's not ladylike to wield a sword.] Well, ever the man in men! Let a woman know her place: let her milk and spin and sew and bake and bear children, not look upon her threshold or the command of her lord and master! Bah! I spit on you all!
There is no man alive who can face me with weapons and live, and before I die, I'll prove it to the world. Women! Cows! Slaves! Whimpering, cringing serfs, crouching to blows ...
Ha! You deny me a place among men? By God, I'll live as I please and die as God wills, but if I'm not fit to be a man's comrade, at least I'll be no man's mistress."
From: The Encylopedia Of Amazons, by Jessica Amanda Salmanson, p. 4.

Thanks Sheilja for your thoughtful complement. I'm not an expert yet, but I think I've mastered the basics of Web design. I took a look at your blog and, while your info was great in learning how to make new friends, you should devide up the content into posts so visitors can reply. Also, go to statcounter.com and download their free visitor counter so you can keep track of your popularity. Good luck!
G'day Wolfy,
Interesting blog. Thanks for dropping into my site and leaving your link.
I was on a TV quiz show recently and passed up the chance to buy $9000 worth of superhero artwork, personally signed by the artist.
You reckon that was a bad move?
Cheers
David
Thanks for complement, David. $9K seems a lot to pay to me, but depends on how many pieces and the reputation of the artist.
Nice blog. You grabbed my interest with the artwork and particularly with the subject matter of it. I'm very interested in stories with strong female leads and have outlined a novel with such. As they all say, one day I'll write it. But more in earnest, I am currently in the initial stages of illustrating a graphic novel. So yes, this is definitely a blog of interest for me. Keep up the good work!
Oh, and if you have a minute please leave me a comment at Alien Citizens :-)

Hello Thanks for doing the site...very nice.Would you be interested in any new artwork of women warriors? Hecter
Great site also the music is astounding I have read most of the conan comics and seen both movies, this blog reminded me of this great movie. How did you put the music in there? I have linked to your site in my blog it is great. You should keep up the good work with the stories!
Drow, thanks a lot for the wonderful comment you made about my blog. I work very hard to give my visitors an enjoyable experience every month with my updates.
As for how I placed background music on blog, please click on the Google Blogger Help group, then search for my post "adding background music". It will give you the complete procedure.
What I did basically was to place the music file (wav format) on my ISP's FTP server in my Tool Box folder, then added a HTML gadget to my blog in Layout. The gadget contains the HTML code lines to link my blog to the music file. My post in Google Help is easy to use and requires no knowledge of HTML. If you have any trouble, just leave me a comment on my blog.
So basically all you have to do... Is copy paste the link from your files to the HTML gadget? Do you need an MP3? If it is annoying to ask it in comments then please tell me to stop and I will.
Hi Drow, no, you can't just cut and paste it. My post is for the general instruction as each blog is different. Read the HTML code carefully and just insert the changes needed to customize the code.
As for MP3, you can use it, but it will cause your blog to load slower. I prefer WAV, but you can try MP3 and see how fast your blog loads. Please remember that not all users have broadband.
You are welcome to post your comments here. Please be aware that the link on your blog to my blog has expired. You need to add a Link gadget to your blog and then add my URL to your Link list. You have an interesting blog, but it needs a lot of work in design and a visitor counter. You will find a lot of help in the Google Help group if you post there or search the group.
